Shaunbless + NSR

So I've been working with 101 Management for a minute now, and we've got a grip of artists that I'm pretty excited about. First up is Shaunbless, who's half of Soul Diggaz. (Soul Diggaz have done production for Missy Elliott, Diddy, Beyoncé, and a bunch of other folks.) Dude just teamed up Missy on his track "Shake N Bake," which is a huge club hit. Check it out:

And then there's NSR. Dude's a half-Jewish rapper from the Upper West Side, and his live show has been getting some no-nonsense hype. Below is "Cream Cheese, Butter, Jelly," his take on "Beamer, Benz, or Bentley." Dope:

Friendly Greg + Mixin' It Up

The Mixin' It Up series is one of Discobelle's best features, and Discobelle may be my favorite non-Panda Toes, non-BIGSTEREO blog. Thus, I was heaps excited when the Discobelle gents asked me to make a mix for the series. I set out with an aim to keep it relatively chill, but the mix was one Dutch house jam after another before I knew it. Stream it at SoundCloud or download it MediaFire. Give me some MySpace love. Please and thanks.

Teki Latex + Noob

I didn't go to W.M.C. this year. In fact, I've never been to W.M.C. However, everyone and their dog heard about buzz tunes such as "Dinosaurs With Guns." So we sat at our computers impatiently waiting for these tunes to drop. It felt like ages. And on April 20th, the aforementioned track was finally released. Then we realized that one month really isn't all that long to wait for a song.

Anyways, Teki Latex creates in "Dinosaurs With Guns" a song that makes me both a) giggle and b) dance. And considering a) how grumpy I am and b) how infrequently I dance, that's really saying something. Noob kills the production and Teki Tek babbles on and on about something or other. And it's all glorious. Cop the release at Beatport.

Lil Wil + Soulja Boy

With all the hype surrounding "Teach Me How To Dougie," I figured I'd best write a post to remind y'all about another recent song referencing the new dance craze: "My Dougie." Lil Wil kills the original. What's more Soulja Boy goes to town on the remix. Most importantly, this is some Dallas, TX creativity right here. Love my hometown.

Uffie + Mirwais + Pharrell

Let's make one thing clear - I'm very much a fan of both Ke$ha and Uffie. As in I'm 100% not a part of the camp that hates on Ke$ha for being some sort of Uffie ripoff - I've got enough love for the both of 'em.

And let's be real - I'm super excited about the upcoming release of the latter's Sex, Dreams, and Denim Jeans. I've seen Uffie perform on three different continents and have been eagerly awaiting the release of my lady's debut L.P. for quite some time now. The recently leaked track "ADD SUV" has me more excited than ever before. Mirwais handles the production, Pharrell spits a few lines, and the track as a whole bangs. Here's to hoping the whole album makes me as giddy as this here track.

Thanks to our friends at Disco Dust for a non-radio rip version of the song.

Heaps Decent + A-Trak

It's been something like a year or so since I last posted, but I'm back. Heaps Decent is an organization run by a grip of good, kind people - the kind of people that are good and kind enough to make a lazy, cold-hearted person such as myself come out of blogging vacation to write about their philanthropic endeavors. The video below features the dude Levins recording tracks with a few kids at various juvenile justice centers and the mix under it features snippets of a few tracks Heaps Decent has helped record over the past few years (including a brand new song produced by A-Trak to kick it all off). Peep:
